The ALT Games Lab and KUAS' Ubicomp Lab collaboratively conducted a participatory design workshop to understand Japanese college students' needs and desires for gamifying sleep health. This project involves analyzing workshop data, brainstorming game-based & gamified approaches to improve sleep health, and prototyping ideas.
During the fall quarter, I will analyze the existing workshop data with a small team of game designers and developers. In addition, I plan to conduct competitive analyses of existing sleep apps, understand gamified health/gamified self topics in research, and storyboard interaction points for a sleep health game.
